Fashion designer Manuel Kirchner is well known for his gowns, which are highly popular with celebrities. In his TULPEN DESIGN’s creations, we are used to see all the ingredients for the big show on the red carpet: corsages, a touch of lingerie, chiffon layers, washed silk, drapes and sparkling stones. But at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, the Berlin-based designer showed with "New Look. Now" a straight and graceful collection, consisting of long and short dresses, maxi and mini skirts, capes and coats, made from lace, silk and fur.
Classic close fitting silhouettes met extensive shapes, and as Tulpen Design is known for, everything was in fact cut perfectly. Black, white, different pinks and a little amount of rust colors dominated the Autumn/Winter 2016/17 collection. In addition to the straight and graphic cuts, some small details, like tiny leather clasps, deep cuts or draped necklines, were to find.
For the first time, the designer presented his new line and eponymous sub-brand MANUEL KIRCHNER. With casual ready-to-wear pieces, Manuel Kirchner showed himself from a completely different perspective. He still remained faithful to his feminine looks with cozy knitwear, leather rocking and trendy silhouettes.

With his new collection and sub-brand, Kirchner perfectly met the demands of modern women and bridged the gap between his very own past and future.
