At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, capturing time through eternity is STEINROHNER’s idea for their Autumn/Winter 2016/17 collection "Eternal Ice". It is inspired by wintery sceneries of snow, ice and coldness and the origins of the two designers, the Swiss mountains and rough Russian landscapes.

In 2015, Inna Steiner and Caroline Rohner, the women behind the fashion label, were awarded the Young Designers Award Germany and, after this, the success of the two piled up within the shortest time.
Accompanied by live music from the Berliner band Laneout, Steinrohner presented oversize coats in black and silver-metallic, tight fitting leggings and trousers and tops with different patterns and prints.
Most notably was the use of acrylic glass, which looked like ice-flowers and was located as details on white sneakers or gloves and some parts of the minimalist clothing - a special feature, which reminded the audience of the eternal ice.
In addition, natural materials such as cashmere, wool and cotton were used. A few leather-pieces were included as well, to produce and underline the illusion of coldness and ice.

Highlights were a laser-cut pantsuit and a studded with protruding plastic striped dress. Both showed where Steinrohner can be seen with its roadworthy high fashion - appropriate between Couture and Pret-à-Porter.
