The young designer VANESA KORNGOLD who graduated from the Fashion and Textile Design Universidad de Palermo in 2010, showed the new collection on Thursday at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.
The collection reflected the energetic temperament of Argentinian culture. It was unique and adventurous - and as you would expect - colourful. The pieces showed an open and untamed soul.

It was all about a magical and playful childhood. The colour palette consisted of light pastel shades and deep black. Colours as the light after a big storm flew down trousers and shirts. As a special detail, handmade embroidery - made by Ita Verá - graced jackets and skirts. And the prints by Sara Rainoldi especially made for the collection gave it an artificial touch.
Also, a layering appeal occured as the tops cascaded down to the knee and over slim and tight trousers and skirts. On the runway, actual layering was seen on a colourful strap dress worn over a print shirt and, on another model, a plain strap dress over trousers.

The main fabric was light chiffon, then leather and cotton. Sleek shapes and undefined cuts completed the young and rebellious appeal. The soft shades and the accordion pleats on knee-length trousers and ankle-length dresses functioned as mirrors to the hopeful and wishful minds. The black Adidas socks worn in strapped pumps and sneaker gave the collection a sportive and sophisticated feeling. The accessory Vanesa Krongold chose - high hats and huge jewellery - undermined the feeling of strong-minded young people.
The collection told an emotional story about the young generation and the good fight in order to have a boundless and adventurous future.
