With a fashion that results in a mixture of purism and extravagance, DAWID TOMASZEWSKI carries everyone away into a unique, extraordinary world of thoughts and his own sense of style. That's what he did again at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin when he presented his Autumn/Winter 2016 collection at Kronprinzenpalais. It is already a well known Fashion Week location and Dawid curated this place very well: the walls were covered with a metal foil and bright, glittering lights referring back to a concert stage, which matched his new creations.

Like no other, Dawid Tomaszewski elaborates his own style, always hanging on a subtle glamour of the past, which manifests itself in luxury. He develops a processing and female extravagance, while disregarding major fashion trends.
The models walked in an infinity loop, wearing trousers, dresses and coats, which were mainly dominated by bold colors and graphic prints. The crowd pleaser was a geometric print coat, which looked three-dimensional and could be seen as textile geometry in its purest form.
There was a bit of everything: gloomy shades such as dark blue, vibrant shades like orange and powerful red – these were the main colours. The pieces containing this kind of colour-blocking look underlined his straightforward style.

Skirts and trousers with shiny cloth, which would fit very well into a world full of dreams, thoughts and elegance, rounded off the new collection. No big deal, he finished his show with long gowns - his fashion is plainly made for the red carpet, for dreams and, of course, for the stage.
