At London Fashion Week, ASPINAL OF LONDON took a retrospective on true elegance, reflecting their core values and looks, drawing attention to their artisanal heritage.
Being an established British leather goods supplier, they reinvented their elegant and feminine style and interpreted their key looks into modern accessories. They remained true to their origins: making handcrafted, high quality leather goods with a very distinctive British note to them. They are looking towards the future with their looks – while still reflecting on their history.
Building their collection on iconic styles, Aspinal of London added complimentary new bags to complete the looks of the Fall/Winter 2016/2017 season.
The brand followed a journey though many decades, reinterpreting the pearl as a symbol of elegance, using it as the key tool for the “Pearl Collection”, combining allusions of the Art Deco era with a modern take on vintage sophistication. Two new designs, the “Editor’s Tote” and the “Mayfair Collection” were inspired by the 1940’s and 1950’s.

Convincing with rich textures and contrasts through the presentation of the new collection, furry softness and crisp croc leathers added the right amount of diversity. The colour palette was given extra depth with rich Bordeaux, navy blue and black, dusty pink and chanterelle.
