KTZ was launched in 2003 and is a contemporary London-based fashion label under the creative direction of Marjan Pejoski and management of Sasko Bezovski. Exactly 10 years ago, in 1996, they opened a shop in Soho as a hybrid music and fashion store. There they established the label KTZ and started to create men’s and women’s ready-to-wear clothing. Their designs are edgy, cool and urban. A wide range of different inspirations comes together in each collection and KTZ is known for embracing ethnographic references and multiculturalism. It is all about being creative and they seem to mix and match different themes, creating an utterly unique style, which is loved by many up-and-coming, as well as established, personalities in creative industries, especially music. The after-party of the show was held at XOYO in Shoreditch with guests like Odie Harsh, Andrew Butler, Clean Bandit, Samantha Togni, Attack Attack Attack and Joshua James.

For the Autumn/Winter 2016 collection, KTZ connected different cultural references ranging from Russian Futurism to American sport and the pioneering German electronic band Kraftwerk. Designer Marjan Pejoski delivers a menswear season that is erudite yet athletic. What stands out is definitely the American football look to be seen on many models. The predominant colors are black (KTZ's staple), red, yellow and teal. Black coats and jackets with many geometric details, shirts and pants with the classic urban prints that KTZ is known for and a good amount of striped looks underline the sporty inspiration behind the A/W 2016 collection. The striped red-black-white biker leather jacket is a good example of how designer Pejoski introduces an urban vibe into his designs. Many exceptional details in combination to mixing fabrics, has become KTZ's unique look. This season, the label's new collection brings together dynamic geometric prints in a minimal colour scheme, functional silhouettes with structural panels assembled with high-contrast baseball lacing, and suits combing elegance with the driving force of sports-inspired prints and detailing. Although it was LCM, KTZ also showed some parts from their womenswear AW16 collection. Modern, edgy, urban - a true London brand. The Union Jack being nothing less than a mere clarification of that.
