A lot has been going on during London Fashion Week this September. Brands have engaged the fashion enthusiasts in their spring/summer 2017 collections with unique catwalk shows and immersive presentations, creating a festive atmosphere in the streets of London.
As a true British brand founded 92 years ago, BELSTAFF went all in during their presentation on Sunday by showcasing their latest collection as well as Liv Tyler’s capsule collection.
The presentation was carried out under the roof of Victoria House and allowed the observer to travel along the side of Augusta and Adeline Van Buren in an “epic” 5,500-mile long motorcycle journey across America. With the help of Joe De Kadts pictures used as backgrounds, the terrain was set and one could begin immersing himself into the ride the two sisters completed in order to empower and inspire women. Belstaff stayed true to its signature style as leather, denim and neutral coloured pieces were featured across the venue, all blending into the “wilderness” of the barren terrain.
Moving on to the second capsule collection created by Liv Tyler, one could not help but feel as if he or she had entered the English countryside during the late 1960’s, manifested by strong rock n roll vibes. The collection was characterised by the bold yet “playful” woman, drawing into the brand’s military pieces, whilst adding silk, denim and floral patterns, creating a feeling of freedom to the observer. Dried grass, a few flowers and a steel fence made one forget the autumn ahead and allowed the audience to travel deep into the summer months of the British countryside.

From America to the British countryside Belstaff and Liv Tyler made sure to take each fashionista to a never-ending excursion of self-discovery, whilst drawing into themes that changed the world we live in today.
